1. Trusted Contractors

We typically invite four pre-vetted contractors, selected for: 

  • Education sector experience 
  • Capacity and availability 
  • Competitiveness on costs and experts in their specialist lines of work 
  • Strong health & safety record 

All contractors receive the same sealed bid tender pack at the same time and with the same tender return date to the client.

2. Controlled Tender Return

Bids are submitted sealed and only opened after the deadline by the client and under witness and under strict controls. No late entries are considered and 100% transparency assured.  

Client populates post tender return form and issues tender returns to RPT Consultants for evaluation after the deadline. 

3. Fair & Detailed Evaluation

Each bid is assessed on a side-by-side comparison, in addition to evaluation against the pre-tender cost estimate and benchmarked against current market rates (SPONS).
